Hi there! Let me present you a new illustration of mine. Yes, there is a lot of symbolism and background behind this illustration, and I want to share it with you).

So, what is the story behind this illustration? I believe that cultural heritage of any nation is the key to its future. Our task is to keep it, and not allow it to be wiped away.
-INVINCIBILITY. Vyshyvanka ornament, chestnut trees in bloom, symbol of invincible Kyiv which stands strong, unbreakable and proud.
- CULTURAL HERITAGE. The ornament is a tribute to Ukrainian artist Liubov Panchenko. I found a newspaper dated 1983 with her embroidery scheme, and decided to add it to my illustration. Young Liubov was portrayed with dark hair braid, so this hairstyle was also a choice for my female character.

I made a vector file based on this ornament, and leave it here for free download.
-LOYALTY. The cat in my illustration means loyalty of Ukrainian people to their pets as they took them to bomb shelters, or while fleeing from war in first days. The world was astonished with such care of animals.
- CONFIDENCE. I used here static triangle and symmetric composition to highlight the sence of stability, awareness and confidence. Such choice of composition emphasizes the message: UKRAINE WILL WIN AND PREVAIL!
