// Highbury Transit Hub //
This project is a proposal for Highbury Islington station in London. The site has seen much transformation since the war, which has left the area becoming confused as to what it is. This project aims to return the site to its former glory. A large open forecourt allows circulation in, out and around the station which lies below offices that address Highburys abscence of quality office space.
The office space has been designed so that it seems detatched from the station and busy space below. This is achieved through two main techniques. First of all, the Zinc panelled bookends of the building act as buffers between the busy forecourt below and the office space itself and the roof terrace gives office workers a space in which they can go to relax.
