Master's thesis was about processing and properties of THV and THVP in cell culturing image purposes. Main point of the thesis was to make naturally hydrophobic THV and THVP more hydrophilic with the help of the oxygen plasma treatment. Hydrophilic surface attracts water and make it easier to cell to attach to its surface. Also, material needed to be transparent in order to be able to study cell in the surface of the material via microscope. Experimental part of the thesis included wettability, transparency and refractive index testing. Refractive index testing was done to make sure that material's refractive index is close to water's.

Poster presentation was presented in Tampere university event at Arvo kampus. It was part of the biomaterials and tissue engineering section of the event. Event was divided into different sections and time windows and one presentation window was one and half hour.
