Kaila Kilani is a vibrant pottery studio making its mark in the heart of Singapore. Founded by the talented sister duo, Kaila and Kilani Wong, this creative haven breathes life into their childhood passion for crafting exquisite pottery.

From a young age, Kaila and Kilani were fascinated by pottery, putting their passion into each sculpted creation. Inspired by its transformative nature, they bravely left their dull 9-5 jobs behind to seek solace from the stresses of everyday life. Through pottery, they found a way to go beyond artistry and tap into something deeper.

"Nowadays, this process has become somewhat of a ritual for us. Even when we are unsure about what to create, we instinctively start by crafting numerous clay balls. Gradually, we mold them into various shapes, and astonishingly, the final outcomes always turn out to be quite interesting."

The graphics draw inspiration from the sisters' own story of shaping clay balls, symbolizing the beginning of their pottery journey and the boundless flow of creativity.

They are designed to be versatile and free-flowing, embodying organic forms without sharp angles or corners. These graphics bring a sense of fluidity and natural beauty to the space, harmonizing with the artistic process of pottery-making.

The color orange holds a special place in Kaila and Kilani's hearts because it was their grandmother's favorite color. They have fond memories of their grandmother working in the backyard, shaping clay while wearing her favorite orange apron to protect her clothes from clay stains.

Orange also represents strong feelings of passion, positive energy, and a youthful spirit. Whenever they see the color orange, it brings them happiness. ◉‿◉

Kaila and Kilani are affectionately known as the "Jumpy Sisters" among their closest family and friends, always seem carefree and joyful. They have a playful side, but they also have a gentle nature.

In order to capture their harmonious essence, the soothing hue of mint green is thoughtfully incorporated, mirroring their softer personalities. This choice of color serves as a perfect counterbalance to the vibrant and fiery orange, creating a harmonious blend that reflects the multifaceted nature of Kaila and Kilani.

Kaila and Kilani will be offering pottery classes for those seeking an escape from stress. Their goal is to share the love and appreciation for the art of pottery with everyone, hoping to inspire a profound admiration for its beauty.
