Intelligent Disinfection Sprayer
Discription: In 2022, during the city-wide lockdown in Shanghai due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we observed that the demand for household disinfection and express delivery disinfection was increasing day by day. However, the products on the market could not solve the pain points of “one needs to hold disinfection sprayers with his/her hands to spray disinfection liquids but the hands themselves may carry viruses” and “it's tiring to press the spray pump head repeatedly for disinfection”.
Therefore, we designed an intelligent disinfection sprayer that can be triggered to spray for 1 second by stretching out your hand to the sensors and can spray continuously for 15 seconds by pressing a button to solve these two pain points corresponding to these two scenarios.
The horn-shaped head of the machine is consistent with the semantics of “spray” and “launch”. A cylinder is extended from the bottom of the “horn” to form a grip handle and leave space for installing the liquid bottle. The contour of the upper part of the liquid bottle is continuous with that of the machine head to form a visual sense of integration. The capacity of the liquid bottle is 500mL so that users can easily purchase 500mL disposable alcohol and directly pour it into the liquid bottle at one time to avoid alcohol volatilization caused by long-term placement. The cross-section of the liquid bottle is elliptical to form a sense of volume and meanwhile prevent dumping.
