During my freelance work in the Bay Area, California, back in 2008, I had the opportunity to create the website for Paws Crossing, a Pet Resort. One of my primary objectives was to align the website's design with the brand's identity, which meant incorporating the brand's colors of green and orange throughout the site. This helped establish a consistent and recognizable visual presence for Paws Crossing. In addition, to convey the comfort, care, and safety offered by the Pet Resort, I carefully chose imagery and visual elements that exuded warmth and security. The goal was to make the target audience feel comfortable and confident in the service quality.
Paws Crossing offers exceptional pet services, including boarding, daycare, grooming, and other indulgences. When crafting the website, I wanted to showcase these services in a visually appealing and informative way. To emphasize our interactive daycare environment, I highlighted the absence of cages and the focus on fun, ensuring pets could enjoy themselves freely. I incorporated engaging imagery of dogs playing happily to capture the vibrant atmosphere of Paws Crossing. Additionally, I featured outdoor play areas and a bone-shaped pool to underscore the opportunities for exercise and play, emphasizing our commitment to the well-being of our furry guests.
Throughout the creative process, my expertise was vital in bringing the Paws Crossing website to life. By understanding the needs and preferences of the target audience, I designed a user-friendly and informative website. The result was a visually appealing and functional website that effectively shared the values, services, and atmosphere of Paws Crossing with both existing and potential customers.
