Plenum: Architecture of Democracy Anthology

A contribution to the yearly NTU MArch Anthology, a study of the plenary halls of European parliaments.
The Camera dei Deputati (Chamber of Deputies) sits within the Palazzo Montecitorio, and forms the Italian Government alongside the Seanto della Republica (The Senate of the Republic). Using only a few original drawings and photographs of the chamber, a 3D model was produced in Revit, with bespoke families made to enable a high level of detail. Drawings were then produced from the model, deconstructing the chamber as a method of understanding function and form.
