Ellie Coleman // BA Photography Student 2023
My work explores themes of feminism, identity and the female body through a combination of fashion, portraiture and still life, creating a unique representation of the effects that sexual objectification has on women’s mental health.
Conveyed through the use of various props and objects featured within my images, and using a closed colour palette of black, white and red, I have produced a series of twelve final images which coincide with one another and communicate my theme in an intriguing manner.
