Sunday school lessons often confused me. I knew I was getting important information but I didn’t understand the reasoning behind much of it. Why was it my responsibility as the girl to keep boys away from me when their behavior was not their fault because it was just in “their nature?” 

I didn’t understand what “it” was and why “it” would be my fault. I didn’t know what the nuns were talking about!
