My assistant Paul, Creative Director Andrew Town and myself spent 10 days living with a small Melanesian community on a remote island in the archipelago of Vanuatu. I was there shooting an outdoor campaign for TVL, a major telecommunication company in the South Pacific.

 

My brief was to capture the community as they went about their daily routines.

 

It was amazing. There was no power or running water and our diet consisted of bananas, rice and fish. We slept under the stars (under mosquito nets!!), bathed in the sea, ate like kings and had the privelige of spending time with and getting to know the most most amazing group of people I've had the pleasure to meet.

 

I cant wait to go back.
