XXL Magazine Redesign
XXL is a hip-hop music and lifestyle magazine focused on providing breaking music, fashion, and news.
While first published in 1997, the magazine's format and design have changed very little since its inception.
I redesigned XXL to create an elevated print experience that consumers would be more interested in reading, purchasing, and collecting. Through the implementation of an entirely new system of grids, fonts, and imagery, the publication's existing content was re-evaluated and optimized for an evolving audience.
