BRUNE & BLONDE's profile

Swinger Guitars Website

When artist and musician friends Noah & Gaetano approached us to help them develop a website for their new line of handmade electric guitars inspired by vintage tennis rackets, we were eager to get onboard.

The website design solution for this project had to be be simple and inexpensive while still communicating the story behind the brand and the uniqueness of the product itself. Our work involved creating product imagery and photos of the guitar builders in their workshop in order to then design a sleek and easy-to-navigate site.
The website homepage features a full-screen rotating background image (seen here above & below). Note that Brune & Blonde was not involved in the creation of the campaign-style imagery seen here.
When entering the section labeled "guitars" (see below), visitors are invited to enter the world the "Riviera" or the "Tour de Force" guitar, where they can explore photos of the product and read about it's attributes.
Upon entering the section for the specific guitar, visitors can then browse the various gallery images that feature multiple views of said guitar (see below). Product imagery created by Brune & Blonde.
The fabrication process of these high-end, handmade guitars is completely hands-on and we sought to communicate this artisanal process through workshop imagery (produced by Brune & Blonde and shot by Donat Boulerice) and a description of the process itself in the website's "Craftsmanship" section seen here below.
Given the nature of the product itself, we felt that the background story of Swinger's founders and guitar craftsmen was a crucial part of the brand itself. We therefore created a section devoted to communicating the process involved in making these guitars.
