I remember watching this video in class and enjoyed re-watching it, as it was my favorite video shown off during the course of the class. As an analog & film photographer, I absolutely love watching this process of photography happen, and very much appreciate the hard work and dedication put into making a single sheet of 'film plate' for the style of photos they use. It's such an immensely expensive and time consuming process that makes some of the most breath taking pieces of photos I've ever seen. I would be very much interested in learning more about this style and even trying it for myself someday if the opportunity shows itself, because to me art is always better when it's weird or uncommon, which is my I love analogue, film, and Polaroid photography, they aren't as common and deemed 'retro' which gives it a sense of authenticity, and that can be said for this Silver & Light style as well, since in it's most raw form it is a moment of life, captured on a silver sheet of metal. It's a work of art.
