Problem
Bisoi is a small remote village in Chakrata district of Uttarakhand, situated about 80km from Dehradun. The problem is, not many know about the village, and those who are aware only come to visit the main attraction, the Mahasu Devta Temple. Where in reality, Bisoi is a promising spot for travellers who are looking for a day's trip to an off-beat location and experience peace and calmness, away from the city. The goal of this project is to increase tourism in Bisoi, and extend the solution to other similar locations.
Solution
Making use of village's existing resources to offer unique experiences, and incorporating digital infrastructure to generate awareness about the village and the activities that can be performed here.
