Want Punch? is a series of antique punch cups dissected and reassembled in unexpected ways while retaining their original function. The profile of each cup is kept untouched so that they would appear as ordinary punch cups while viewed from the front.

Cup #1: A false bottom was inserted. The cup was cut at a slant, a false bottom was inserted and soldered to the bottom, and the top piece was soldered back on. 

Cup #2: The cup was cut in half. One half was flipped and soldered back on, forming a crescent-shaped cross section.

Cup #3: Cup with a flipped interior. The bottom was cut from the cup, and a new smaller cup was forged from scratch. The smaller cup was then soldered into the cup along with a new bottom. The cup could be use from both ends.
