HOW TO KEEP CAMP FOR CHEAP - RV CAMPING ON A BUDGET

HOW TO KEEP CAMP FOR CHEAP - RV CAMPING ON A BUDGET

Choose the things that are important to you and the things that will make you happy and comfortable in your RV.  When contemplating a purchase, consider whether you will truly be happier having it next week.

Because your RV would quickly become congested, typical RV living is rather simple.  Due to the restricted space in an RV, even the addition of clothing and shoes needs to be carefully planned.

Any budget can support RVing. Yes, that is true. As long as you know how to RV on a budget, RVers can find savings whether they travel full- or part-time.

You can go RVing whenever you choose on any budget by using the advice provided below and read more on The Roadtripster Blog at https://theroadtripster.com/blog/rv-camping-the-affordable-way-to-travel-and-explore/

TIP NUMBER ONE: PRIORITIZE AND BUDGET

How important travel is to you is one element to take into account.  How much you travel will greatly influence your fuel and car maintenance costs.  Although traveling isn't a must for full-time RV living, it is for many of us.

Decide what is important to you while camping and only prioritize those necessities. Making a budget is one way to keep everyday expenses at a minimum.

TIP NUMBER TWO: PREPARE YOUR OWN MEALS

How much money we spend on meals is one factor that we don't give much thought to when it comes to budgeting. The cost of eating out is always more than cooking your own meals, and it adds up quickly!

RVers who want to stretch their dollars plan and prepare all of their meals while camping.

TIP NUMBER THREE:  TRAVEL SLOWER

You get the chance to discover new places like a native when you stay in one place for an extended period of time. The greatest strategy to save cost when RVing is to move slowly!

Slower travel results in less gas use as well as discounts that you wouldn't typically get. Most campsites offer discounts for longer stays.

TIP NUMBER FOUR: SAVE ON CAMPSITE FEES

Purchasing a seasonal site is undoubtedly a more affordable option if you don't mind parking for the entire season.  You will still save money compared to paying nightly camping fees.

If you reserve a seasonal place for between three and five months, many campgrounds offer greatly reduced pricing.  Seasonal rates can differ from nightly or weekly rates by hundreds of dollars.

TIP NUMBER FIVE: GO BOONDOCKING

Camping for free at unserviced locations also known as Boondocking is a terrific way to save money. Some of the campgrounds are lovely and have quick access to rivers or lakes where you may swim or fish.

Nearly all significant towns and cities have free camping options.  Thanks to the internet, finding fantastic boondocking locations is simpler than you may imagine.

RVing on a budget can be done!

You can save a ton of money as an RVer by combining the methods described in this article.

Additionally, a lot of the budgetary activities on this list are so easy to do and worthwhile even if you aren't on a budget.
