People camp to escape from urban lifestyle. Camping is a way of reconnecting, of stepping back from the constant onslaught of screens and technology.
However, in Singapore, to indulge in such simple pleasures of camping, one has to apply for a camping permit from any AXS stations or applying online. Camping permits will be required on weekdays and weekends, including public and school holidays.
Why the hassle? Why go through so many steps to request for a permit to camp? Thus, this booklet is a guide to camping in Singapore, that does not adhere to the laws of Singapore. The concept is to break the norm of booking a normal space in any parks, hence, bringing the convenience of camping into neighbourhoods and city of camping anywhere and everywhere at any time of the day or night.
