WFP Bringing girls to the table



The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) approached us for support with a campaign in Canada to raise awareness and support for its school meal operations around the world. We helped design and strategize a print and online campaign focused on gender and food security.

Our interactive design collaboration with WFP’s team found the following insight: “When girls are properly fed, they excel in their education, and thus, contribute to the overall wellbeing of communities.” 

This was the basis for the “bringing girls to the table” concept which combined WFP’s gender and food objectives and focused the campaign on school lunches.

The ads were placed in leading publications in Canada and the campaign was adopted globally by WFP. It helped position the WFP as a leading development organization supporting community initiatives and served as the focus for their G7 campaigns around food and gender programs.
