Bremen Town Musicians In Rome

Description: A special spectacular presentation was developed for the project on Piazza Sant'Ignazio as part of the academic program. The Soviet musical cartoon "Bremen Town Musicians" was taken as a basis. According to the plot, the Troubadour and his four friends — a Donkey, a Dog, a Cat and a Rooster — come to the royal castle to give a circus performance. So for my project I've redrawn them giving their concert on Piazza Sant'Ignazio.
All backgrounds are made in the style of a cartoon, but with the surrounding buildings of the square. To better understand what the original frames of the cartoon were, you can look at the series "before-after" below.
Below you can see how the exam presentation itself looked like. Explanatory flyers with the history of the cartoon and imitating an invitation to a circus performance were printed out as gifts for classmates and teachers.
