This is my project of an abandoned warehouse. To start, I explored the subject by creating moodboards on different types of lighting, potential textures, warehouse architecture, and objects commonly found in these spaces.
I made this project at the beginning of my first year of studies. It gave me a lot of fun and excitement because it was my first 3D model ever. Throughout the process, I gained basic knowledge about the tools in 3ds max.
Once my building model was approved, I started working on texturing and adding some objects to make my warehouse more appealing. Finally, I created a storyboard that outlined my animation concept.
I learned about texturing and unwrapping UVW maps of simple shaped objects. I also gained many valuable skills while setting a walk-through camera. The goal was to create an animation that appeared to be from the viewpoint of a person walking around the room.
