The name Nueva is derived from Art Nouveau which holds characteristics of natural forms, dark outlines, organic movement and shapes. Also the name is from the Spanish translation of new, which is “Nuevo” except switching out the last letter for an “a” to make it feminine.

I incorporated an actual image of the fruits in the labels to add depth to the pieces. I used a shiny paper to print the labels so the color of the wine and the rum and the labels would not clash.

I completed the packaging with brown paper bag material around the cap area of the bottle to emphasis the feeling of natural and organic. This extra step in opening the bottle created a present effect.
