APPS (Taylors Version)
In the words of Taylor Swift "Everything Has Changed". My initial draft for this project is no where near what I ended with. My original idea was to just use my the apps on my phone as my icons and just redesign them a bit to fit more with my style. That then changed completely to making new and unique apps that relate to Taylor Swift songs from every album.
In the image above my sketches were obviously reflecting the apps I have on my phone. Since I was just recreating them I was able to easily use the real apps as references. I then went into illustrator to start designing the icons.
As seeing in the images my drafts reflected what the apps look like on iphones.The picture on the right is just a screenshot of my phone screen and then the one on the left is my actual design in illustrator.
I received some feedback about changing the icons some so they were more unique. So I changed some colors and made it into a color scheme. After the changes and getting more feedback about the icons needing to be more original and unique I scraped everything I had and started over. That's when the Taylor Swift apps were born.
These are my Taylor Swift inspired apps and each one represents one song from every album.

App 1.) Taylor Swift- The Outside: a weather app
App 2.) Fearless- Love Story: an app for romance books
App 3.) Speak Now- Sparks Fly: a dating app
App 4.) Red- Red: an app to track women's menstrual cycles
App 5.) 1989- I Know Places: GPS app
App 6.) Reputation- Dress: an app that uses your clothes to put together outfits.
App 7.) Lover- The Archer: a app for all things archery related
App 8.) Folklore- Mirrorball: an app that tells you where the best parties are
App 9.) Evermore- Champagne Problem: an app that lists the best champagne and drinks to make with it
App 10.) Fearless(Taylors Version)- The Other Side of the Door: an app for you to find songs to go with your mood
App 11.) Red(Taylors Version)- All To Well: an app for dealing with breakups
App 12.) Midnights- Bejeweled: an app for arts/crafts/diys that of course always shimmer
