Before, during and after
People are travelling more, faster and more far away than ever before which often makes the journey a quick passage to complete. Every journey starts with ourselves — feeling the anticipation, awareness of the time and the way on which different countries are crossed. Travelling also means experiencing new places and preserving them for the long term.
The Installation is made out of rotating hourglasses, filled with sand from various destinations. They make individual traveltime visible, tangible and make you also think about your own travel behaviour.
