Teaming up with pop-culture and sports writer Les Kranz, Storycode produced an interactive version of Les’s book Ali in Action. Storycode’s goal with Ali in Action was to take content that had a print predecessor and a DVD and turn into into a unique tablet narrative. Storycode transposed the text heavy book into a virtual timeline exhibit for the iPad, where every element on the virtual wall could be examined more closely. Additionally, Storycode custom built an interactive scrubber and film editing bay motif that calls users to replay frame-by-frame Ali’s greatest knockouts.
