This series of drawings was spontaneously conceived on the basis of my sympathy towards black & white visual systems, that I frequently encounter in my surroundings. For instance, I like looking at crosswords at kiosk stands while waiting for the bus. Being constantly on the pursuit for the most suitable colors and forms was both a meditative and exploratory process for me. Crosswords is a small ode to a number of female artists that did revolutionary things in the beginnings of electronic music - Delia Derbyshire, Daphne Oram, Suzanne Ciani, Clara Rockmore, Pauline Oliveros and Laurie Spiegel.
