Outer Wordly, Other Worldly
A5 fanzine, 2012.
This zine is my response to a gloomy University period, throughout which I was mainly in a position to work on things I was not all
too fond of nor felt were meaningful. Often, I found myself fascinated by small spontaneous "drawings" or printmaking leftovers that
where created by placement of one’s palm on a piece of fleece paper, which was meant to protect the actual print. These inevitable
witnesses of the etching process end up in trash cans in large quantities, since one needs a lot of them to fully wipe the color from
the metal plate used for making prints.
In the zine title, I wanted to depict how I felt through a small game of words - Other Wordly as beyond words and something
unexplainable, and Outer Worldly as, again, something unreachable and out of this world.
