Studio Lighting
For this project, I experimented with different fundamental lighting principles for product photography. The purpose of this was to practice with lights and shadows to make the 3D objects more interesting and give a more realistic look to the scenes.

Here, I did a sketch of the object as a reference for this project.
The object I chose to create in 3D was a Japanese tea set. I wanted to tell a story in this project to make it more interesting so I went for a look of "Kintsugi", which is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold.
To complete this project, I used Substance Painter for the textures and Maya for modeling the object and adding the lights.

After creating different types of lights, I selected the one I thought looked the best for the 3D object. So I chose Badger Light.
