Visual Identity and packaging
Introducing Unaavu, a homegrown cafe built on the idea of bringing the authentic taste of Tamil households to Jodhpur. While designing their logo, we took inspiration from Kolam patterns for the motif, which we coupled with a custom typeface drawing influences from the Tamil script for a visual harmony between the motif and the type; while also embodying the spirit behind Unaavu.
We decided to go with a rich earthy colour palette inspired from the rich soil and lush greenery of South India, paired with the vibrant yellow adopted from Indian spices to create an authentic, natural feel for the brand.
