Design process
- due to the extremely fast-paced nature of the project, there was no discussion about product features or functionality for the initial design. Sketches and initial phase of high-fidelity mockups were created in three days.
- once project was chosen to move forward by a panel of judges, a complete redesign was performed, with an emphasis on iOS
- performed UX testing throughout the process
- several iterations of the design were made to ensure consistency, as well as compatibility on other platforms (Android, BB10)
- parsed assets for iOS and BlackBerry 10 devices
- went from idea to app store in 60 days. Released on iTunes Store and BlackBerry world on January 6, 2014.
- updated in late-April 2014, with UI improvements and additional features
