Bottled. (Retail Therapy)

Bottled is a store that sells water bottles, accessories for water bottles, water flavorings, and custom water bottles. It focuses on name brands and whatever is trending at the time, while catering to people who are environmentally conscious. The overall objective of this retail space is to help encourage everyone to take a step away from single-use plastic water bottles. It’s a modern, minimalist take on the Art Deco style, and pulls in the colors of the water bottles on the shelves so that each space is monochromatic and unique. The goal of this design is to create a unique experience that isn’t distracting from the product using a minimalist design style. Lighting is used to draw the eye to the product creating emphasis. The ceiling will have a painted arch over the displays to match the colors of the walls and draw the eye to the product. This creates emphasis as well as rhythm throughout the open floor. The furniture is colorful and matches the space it is in, while displaying the round shape of water bottles with curvilinear lines. There is a service counter that consults the customers about ordering custom water bottles. It is also utilized for handing out free samples of water flavorings. The flooring brings in the concept of water with a light blue epoxy with a dark blue path guiding the customer from space to space. This path is shaped like a water drop bringing in the design logo. The lounge spaces are made to create an environment where people can take pictures with their water bottles, which helps advertise the space. The overall goal of this space is to sell the idea of reusable water bottles, using stylish choices, to help stop the amount of pollution going on around the world.
