Having lived in Sāo Paulo, Brazil for two years I learned to love the people and the country.  I have also visited Rio de Janeiro. I created textures and colors to acheive a vintage travel poster style.  I also chose a typeface that would relate to older typefaces used.  I chose the typeface cubano because of its nice round curves. The typeface reminds me of how Brazil is a relaxed destination, with friendly and social people who don't have many rough edges.

I chose Rio de Janeiro as one of the posters because it is so well known and very beaufiul.  The city's nickname is marvelous city (cidade maravilhosa).

The destination below is Natal and I chose it because of a person I met from this amazing place.  He meantioned the beautiful white beaches and the sand dunes.  This is one destination I would love to visit. Natals nickname is cty of the sun (cidade do sol)

 

I also made it a little more ambigious to fit other regions of Brazil if necessary, Brazil has many great beaches.

This poster is of a famous elevator that takes you down to the beach and is located in Salvador whos nickname is the happy capital (capital da felicidade).
