This is a donation poster for a non-governmental, non-sectarian, all-volunteer disaster response organization.  They started with 9-11-01 and have expanded their organization into helping not only people that were effected by 9-11-01 but to families that lose things during wild fires, hurricanes, etc.  

 

The poster above would be posted around NYC, and Washington DC during the month of September, it could also be seen on the light post banners throughout parks, and on the sides of the road asking for donations to help families in need.
