The task for this poster was to create a typographic poster that would be inspired by one of the poems of The Beat Generation. In fact, the poster was inspired by the poem Rebirth that was written by Madeline Gleason, which was one of the artists of The Beat Generation.

 

The poster also formed part of a collectible, which we had to produce as a group, working with the intention of selling it.

 

We produced a package that was made out of sack material, which the posters would go into. A stamp with the logo of The Beat Generation was also produced so that we could give an identity to the package as well.

 

On the back side of each poster one would find a photograph which when all six posters would be put together, it would form a whole photograph displaying a handmade quote whuch we produced on a piece of wood.
