"CREATURES OF THE GELATINOUS WORLD" | Scientific art exhibition WWF. AMP Miramare, Trieste.
The project called "Creatures of the gelatinous world", is a triptych realized for a scientific art exhibition, in collaboration with WWF Italy, that took place in the AMP Miramare (Protected marine Reserve) in Trieste, Italy in 2021. The main theme of the exhibition was PLANCTON and its importance for both marine and non marine ecosystems.
This triptych depicts some of the most important elements of zooplancton: JELLYFISH, SALPS and OBELIA (Hydrozoans)
Each table measured 150x150 cm.
Zooplancton 1: JELLIFISH (Cnidaria, Medusozoa)
The most common Jellyfish species in the Mediterranean Sea.
Zooplancton 2: SALPS (Chordata, Tunicata)
Zooplancton 3: OBELIA (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa)
