Healthy Young Attitude

Healthy Young Attitude, a cancer support organization in the bay area, approached me to create collateral in 2014. 
IDENTITY
First, we refreshed the logo a bit. HYA's original logo already had it's own unique aesthetic, and I wanted to stay true to that while improving its impact and legibility. The font originally used for the text portion of the logo became, instead, the basis for the iconic figure. The green and blue colors in the figure were swapped to increase visual impact and prevent the yellow from disappearing as image size reduces. The "cleaner" Geneva font was chosen to create the text portion of the logo. I really wanted the updated logo to reflect their Healthy Young Attitude!
COLLATERAL
Next on the agenda were rack cards and calling cards for use at events and in medical offices. I kept the calling cards clean, simple, and direct--as the most common distribution will be hand to hand--but I really wanted the rack cards to stand out in an office while still being appropriate. I designed the rack cards to reflect variations of the 3 darker logo colors for added impact and visual appeal, while keeping the body of text consistent with regard to color and legibility. The color variety makes them an attention grabber when they are laid out on a counter, with out reducing their effectivity when displayed in a rack.

SIGNAGE
Lastly, I was asked to design a 10 x 3 foot vinyl banner for events!
