I love blending things that I love, so for this poster assignment I chose to combine graphic design with two things that have been a big part of my life since childhood, illustration and dance, to create a potential poster for New York City Ballet's Spring Gala.
I let typography take the backseat with this project and instead focused on enhancing my Adobe Illustrator skills to create an elegant vector graphic of a dancer that works as both a focal point and a means of guiding the eye through the design between the text elements.
