THAI 99 Identity Project

THAI 99 Letter Head, Envelope, & Business Card
The prompt for this assignment was to take a logo from a local Lynchburg Restaurant and remake it and place it on a letterhead, envelope, and business card. The restaurant I chose was Thai 99, a local, family-owned, Thai restaurant. When researching the restaurant, I was drawn to the colors red, green, and yellow as they are common in the cuisine of the restaurant. I decided to make these colors the theme of the logo and stationery for my project. When brainstorming ideas for the Thai 99 logo I wanted to incorporate something edible in the design, which is where I got the idea for the bowl sitting on top of the lettering. I decided to keep the bowl design simple by only adding chopsticks to the bowl shape. I wanted my design to be simple, appealing, and easy to scale. For the stationary, I continued to incorporate the three colors as well as consistent straight lines to create repetition throughout the project. Overall, the Thai 99 logo and stationery design brings a pop of color and a welcoming feel to a local, family-owned, restaurant.
