This is my awarded D&AD entry for the repackaging of Purdey's Rejuvenate Multivitamin Fruit Drink and their new product: Natural Energy.
Through research, I was captivated by how specifically the tea plants were grown in their oriental landscape, which led me on to look at traditional oriental designs. I came across designs that reminded me of energy and circuit boards. I decided to create natural circuit boards for the surface design of the bottles, which had line detail in the Purdey’s logo implemented through out as well as leaves.
Below are the sketchbook pages depicting where my ideas stemmed from.
The design would use temperature activated ink, meaning the colour would change state when the temperature changed from room to fridge. Symbolising how the consumer has absorbed the energy from the drink.
Each flavoured bottle would have it’s own tag that ties around the neck of the bottle. This is to ensure that all the information that was on the bottle could still be retained without disrupting the flow of the design on the bottle.
