DOGTONE is a taxonomy of the color tone of the fur of dogs that inhabit the town of Calafell. The DOGTONE project arises from the need to claim the rights of animals and denounce how "un-pet-friendly" the municipality of Calafell is, since in three years it has closed the dog park and more than two owners of these dogs have had to get rid of them due to illegitimate accusations from the municipality.
It is a large format poster composed in a mosaic form by thirty furry portraits (based on the same structure of a sitting dog looking forward, but maintaining the personality and essence of each one). The background portraits have the color tone of the dog and below, in the Pantone template, there is a small description written: the dog's name, the reference number of the dog's color tone, and the name of the project.
It is an open work, there are thirty dogs, but the artist's idea is to expand the mosaic and give visibility to our fur friends.
