This piece was also created for a class project. The assignment was to come up with a three dimensional calendar. However, a few challenges we were given was to create something that was cheap yet easy to construct. The main concept of my design came from the shape of an hexagonal anti-prism. Each triangle represents a month and the red numbers represents Sundays. One of the neat features of this design is that the calendar is used to hold office items such as staples, papper clips, rubberbands, etc.
