This project introduced me to photographer Imogen Cunningham. She is a delightful character that lived out her passion until the age of 83 years old. She worked on a series of photographs and published a booked called After Ninety.
This project is an expansion of the book After Ninety and for the first time showcasing more of the photo session with Imogen's subjects. The copy waving the wisdoms her subjects have shared with her and what she learned during her long career.
The book captures the witty copy and the graphic elements show Imogen's simple approach to capturing the natural beauty of her subjects. I choose Mrs. Eaves for the body copy because of its elegant and sweet characteristics. I choose Bickham Script for the title and quotes because it carries so many glyphs that allowed me create all those lovely wrinkles out of the different calligraphic curves.
