Empower Swim Club

Empower Swim Club
This branding campaign was for a swim club for children and young adults with disabilities, who wanted to be active and learn how to swim. This program was dedicated to empowering these young people with the mindset that if you put your mind to it, anything is possible.
The image above shows off the three different logo variations our team came up with. We decided to go with the middle logo, because it gave off a simple, yet effective brand. In addition, the middle logo was the most successful with the focus group.
The image above shows off our brand elements and icons that were created for the main logo concept. The color`s blue and salmon represented happiness, and strength, which fit perfectly with an empowering design. The main typeface provided a fun and professional look to the wordmark. Lastly, the patterns provided some simple, and also slightly more complicated fun design to identity packages and mockups.
This swimmer transformation slide shows off the process of how the original icon came to be. Starting out as a full person, and eventually turning it into the letter "e" but shaped like a diver with a swim cap.
These next two slides show off the logo and the patterns on real world objects, such as a swimsuit, a life jacket, and an innertube, all items that would be seen at a pool. For the identity package, the comic pattern provides a nice contrast to all the blue for the letter head, and fits nicely with the pill-shaped business card.
Lastly, we have our style guide which goes in-depth on how everything was created and shows off more of the branding.
This project was for school purposes only. For all purposes, The Empowering Swim Club is a fictional organization.
