U V I O L E T U₆ V₁₂
By combining six atoms of ultraviolet light with twelve atoms of paint, I have created an imaginary molecule that has the ability to interact with both light and matter in fascinating ways. The atoms that make up this molecule have high energy levels that allow them to cause changes in the visual properties of other substances they come into contact with such as ferrofluid or water.

When the atoms of the U₆V₁₂ molecule, composed of both paint and light, are mixed with ferrofluid and exposed to a magnetic field, a rotation movement is induced. This movement, when captured with a long exposure using a camera, creates a mesmerizing concentric blur effect that is visible in the resulting images.
