An historic village called Sinh village is situated in Phu Mau commune, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province, near the Perfume River. Founded in the mid-15th century, the town was once one of the capital's biggest commerce hubs.
Every year on the seventh day of the first lunar month, the hamlet of Sinh hamlet Wrestling Festival is conducted as a traditional celebration. A sizable crowd of locals attend the event in order to witness the wrestler's battle.
