The Great British Bike Ride
This is my response to a brief set by Grayson Perry for his Channel 4 lockdown programme, Grayson Perry's Art Club. The brief was quite simple, to create a piece of art inspired by two words: The Queen. This was one of those rare moments in art where you run with your first idea because you're so instantly inspired by it, and I managed to somehow pull the image out of my brain and onto my computer, almost exactly as I had imagined it.

It shows my belief that our late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, when fed up of the constant strangers nosing round her house, would pop her hood up, hop on a bike and zip off to the countryside with a rucksack full of egg and cress sandwiches.
