A business card i created to promote myself as a graphic designer
Here is my business card i created.
I hand made the brown envelopes but drawing a net i liked to size on brown chalk paper as it is thick and has a nice effect, i then used a scalpul to cut the lines out neat and straight. I used doubled sided tape to hold the tabs into place.
The business card was created using the screenprinting technique, This is me screenprinting my business cards:
The reason for the envelope was
1. To make sure the business card itself was kept safe as it is on fragile paper so could easily tare
2. To hold the grass seeds, as i wanted to include them because it related to the birds as that is what they eat, but also you can plant them so i wanted to reflect a bit of imagination into that and like the band around the middle says "find a place to sow your seeds and grow" i feel this is a great message as everyone grows physically and mentally.

I also screenprinted the words "Find a place to sow your seeds and grow" onto paper to wrap around the business card.
Business card is made of handmade paper so is very delicate, however gives a great economical and recyclable feel.
Both the information on the front and back has been screenprinted onto the business card.
I felt that adding seeds into the business card would help stick in peoples mind so that they would remember me.
