—A first year colour theory project
This was my first touch on infographics from early 2013.
I had never heard of the term, infographics, prior to my course, as I didn't have much experience or knowledge in digital media. Four printed posters needed to be formed on the basics of colour theory in the style of infographics, and appeal to high school students.
The animal concept originated from recollecting where I have seen informational posters back in high school—all over the science labs. They weren't as graphic as the general infographic, so I considered that using animals as a theme would be more engaging with high school students.
