For my vertical logo in chose to do a sunrise look to symbolize the hot and spicy chicken and deserts in Mexico. The background in the sunrise pictures some rocks and cacti to add emphasis on the desert. The two chickens bring homage to the resturant name “Los Pollos Hermanos” meaning “The Chicken Brothers” in Spanish. For the horizontal logo, it is a similar look although ditching the sunrise in favor of a thinner look. The chickens are now yellow instead of black to take place for the sunrise yellow. The wording is moved up to cover the body of the chickens and lower part of the scenery.
