My typographic poster exemplifies the reclusive, hidden nature of renowned poet Emily Dickinson yet shows her poetry as a lyrical and expressive extension of her own emotions. Dickinson's impassioned eloquence spirals forth from its hiding place behind the ribbons and her true nature is made known to the world.
**This poster was selected as a finalist in the 2014 DSVC (Dallas Society of Visual Communications) National Student Show.
The back side of the poster employs similar visual elements to complement the front side. The body copy explores Emily Dickinson's life and works, and a timeline of Dickinson's major life events is incorporated.
