Why the name Twinku?

The first thing that will come to your mind when you hear Twinku is Twinkle Twinkle little stars and there is your answer. Inspired by stars in the sky at night, Twinku took inspiration from there as a company that prevents financial assets (stars) from fading/dying out i.e getting lost in the financial system.
 
Twinku does this by being a safe haven for individuals to keep their wills, track their multiple financial assets, and securely assign and transfer legacies to beneficiaries. The main challenge for Twinku was to differentiate itself in a somewhat new marketplace. There was also the need to appeal to a broad spectrum of customers.
 
Twinku’s brand purpose is aimed at preventing another financial account from vanishing into the financial system and making it accessible to the right people.This is a market that people don’t really address due to fear but Twinku’s vision is to make personal financial data insightful, useful, accessible and inheritable for Africans.
 
A brand without value is a brand with no future. Twinku has built its values on 5 important pillars; trust, integrity, growth, collaboration, and leadership. These 5 standpoints are principles that Twinku abides by in interacting with her customers.


The Twinku logo was designed to appear friendly, professional, and distinct. The construction of the icon is based on the idea of having a stack of files (which represents the financial assets) as a support to Twinku’s standpoint of helping the customer manage their multiple assets.


Twinku’s new color palette consists of 2 core colors, 5 secondary colors, and their respective shades, as well as an accent color, carefully chosen to help it stand out from its competitors. These are used to create many different combinations, particularly in digital environments.
 
Typography is modern and approachable with Plus Jakarta Sans used across all of Twinku’s communications. A second font Figtree is also made available to be used across Twinku’s product applications. These types are highly legible even at the smallest of sizes.


Twinku’s file stack is its unique element that will be used to differentiate Twinku from her competitors at all times. It's also in the word - Unique. This element is unique to Twinku. It's inherited from the concept that birth the logo, stack of files/assets. By tilting them at various angles, we have a unique and beautiful element which you shall see be used in assets from here henceforth.


Theonlyfarouq’s new identity for Twinku positions it as a world-class, professional, and trusted financial & assets storage  platform that helps keep individual assets safe and protected from getting lost in the financial system.
